What is OpenClaw
OpenClaw is a next-generation personal AI assistant that truly gets things done. Unlike regular chatbots, it integrates into the messaging apps you already use (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) and handles real tasks: clearing your inbox, sending emails, managing your calendar, checking you in for flights, and more.
How it works
The assistant runs entirely on your computer. Your context and skills live locally, not in a walled garden. OpenClaw is fully open source with an active GitHub repository. Installation is extremely simple with a one-liner:
curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh | bashIt also supports npm, pnpm, and source installation. A Companion App (Beta) for macOS provides menubar access.

User Feedback

Pros and Cons
Pros: fully open source, local data storage, real task execution, simple installation, rapid development, highly extensible.
